Why do you recommend Showit?

While it might seem intimidating to learn at first, Showit is a fairly easy platform to use. You can drag and drop content, switch and swap images, and create any layout you can image. And even though the possibilities are endless, I know it can be overwhelming if you don’t know the design or tech behind it. So to make it easy for you to use and manage your site, I’ve done all the hard work for you - all you have to do is copy and paste your content, swap out images, and hit publish to make it live.

Is the site easy to use?

Absolutely! It’s super easy to migrate from another platform to Showit and they even assist in the back end set up so you don’t drown in confusing tech set up.

What if I already have a Showit website? Can I still use this template?

Showit provides incredible support for all their websites. You can easily chat with a support rep or find helpful docs and tutorials on their help section. You will also have access to the ID support site for a template set up walkthrough, tech tutorials, and other resources. 

What kind of support do I get?

The standard Showit package for a website and blog is $24/mo which is comparable to other popular platforms. You can find out more about their pricing and what that includes here. I will note that you need to consider other apps and integrations you may have to make. 

How much does Showit cost?

In addition to purchasing the template, you’ll need a Showit subscription and domain.

All you need to get started is your template, Showit subscription, and a domain. Plus, I walk you through the set up start to finish in my guide so you don’t have to worry about knowing what to do or how to do it.

What do I need to get started?

Each template design comes with a built-in blog design for Wordpress. You can upload, schedule and publish blog content from your Wordpress post editor, but you can customize the blog design and make it pretty in the Showit platform (which is already done for you in the template).

How does the blog work?

If you are a full blown commerce shop with lots of products to list - this isn’t the platform for you. For that, I recommend using Shopify as it is built better for full commerce sites. But if you want to include a small shop with your site, you can integrate a shopping cart tool like Thrivecart or Woocommerce and some templates include shop page add ons that can help you do this.

I need a shop. Will this work?

With a separate mobile editor, you have full control over how the site looks on mobile versus desktop. Each template comes with an already designed mobile site, but you have the ability to make changes to it separately so that you can optimize the look and function for mobile devices.

Will the site look good on mobile too?

Yes! These templates are built to be strategic and beautifully designed and ready to go as is (once you swap your content and images). But you also have full capability to add pages, sections, and more to your design. 

Can I add pages to the design?
