look around

Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt less than confident about what you’re selling. I’m right there with you. But feeling confident in what you do is worth more than an ounce of marketing. You have to believe in what you with the utmost confidence do or no one else will. When you exude confidence in your brand, people notice. If you’re struggling to confidently build a brand, here’s my top tips for gaining more confidence.

This is for you if you:

  • Lack confidence in what you’re doing
  • Aren’t sure of how to talk about your brand confidently
  • Are ready to get past the self-doubt and imposter syndrome and into the land of confidence

Build your brand in the right order

You want to build your brand in the right order so that each thing can build on the last for a stronger and better outcome. There is a certain way to do things when it comes to brand building that will result in a better brand.

If you do it backward you’ll end up with an inconsistent mess – and nobody wants that. There’s a lot more to this but to sum it up for you here: you want to start with the foundation of your brand by developing your brand strategy, then you can create strong visuals, then you can build your website more effectively, then you can amplify your brand through clear and consistent marketing.

I dive deeper into this topic here.

Get clarity early on in the process

The clearer you are about who you serve, how you do it, and why your brand exists, the better you’ll be able to make decisions and power moves for building your brand.

Clarity = Confidence

When you are really clear about what you do, why you do it, and who you do it for, you will be more confident about it. When someone asks you about your business you can tell them without skipping a beat. When someone asks you why you charge what you do for your offering, you can answer with ease knowing that you really are worth it. When your brand, website, and marketing are clear and consistent, you can grow your business with confidence.

If you are sending a clear message to people about your business you can be confident that they will know and understand what you are offering to them. It’s not hard, but it does take time to get it right.

Take action before you’re ready

You’ll never feel ready to take the leap and get your brand out there into the world. But if you just take the leap and get started, you’ll gain confidence just by taking action.

Action breeds clarity and clarity gives you confidence.

Even if you don’t have it all figured out, you have to start somewhere and refine, learn, and improve along the way. But if you never put your brand out there, you won’t have anything to build from.

Brand confidence

Recap

I have never been more confident in my business than I am today. Want to know my secret? I haven’t always been in this place. In fact, there was a time, not long ago, when I was not confident at all. As I’ve learned to do business with more intention and clarify my message over time, I’ve gained more and more confidence. Now I know without a doubt, that what I’m doing will genuinely help you build a profitable business while working less.

Next Steps

If you’re stuck in the land of self-doubt like I was, it’s time for you to cross that bridge and be more confident about your brand. The first step is to define your brand strategy so you are super clear on the foundation of your business. Here’s how you do that →
